Wine Tasting

30TH JULY 6:30PM - 8:30PM SOLD OUT

Wild Duck Creek Estate is one of those cult wineries in Australia, based at Heathcote, that achieved much of its acclaim due to a mixture of excellent winemaking techniques (vinification is entirely effected through manual pressing), a winemaker with a keen sense of what good wine is (David Anderson knows and deeply loves his vines). and of course, that Robert Parker awarded 99/100 for their flagship "Duck Muck" in the '97 vintage.

A small family run winery established in 1974 by David, is now run by his son Liam, and a fabulous team that strive to create wines that excite wine enthusiasts and novices alike. Wines that drink wonderfully young and fresh, as well as when gracefully aged.

Quite often the wines are produced in such small volumes that the only way to guarantee to get some is to have an annual allocation.

Fondly known as 'Duck', David is all about sharing laughs, wine, highs, lows and more laughs and with an irrepressible sense of fun! The NBC has not only been lucky enough to secure David to host our tasting, but he will also be bringing along a selection of wines that are not available elsewhere!! Wild Duck Creek wines will be available to purchase on the night.

Wines will be accompanied by a sharing plate and an entrée size fillet steak on a bed of spinach with a Wild Duck Creek wine jus. Book Now to secure your seat. A tasting with David is not to be missed!
