Booking, Confirmation & Payment:

 

Bookings will be held for a maximum of five (5) days from the point of the initial enquiry, and will only be considered confirmed once the nominated function deposit has been paid.

 

Cancellations:

Cancellations made more than two (2) weeks in advance of the date of the function will receive a full refund.


Cancellations made less than two weeks (2) in advance for any other reason will forfeit the deposit.

 

Wet weather:

Cancellations made within seven (7) days due to wet weather washout (determined by club management) for events that are dependent on the use of the Neutral Bay Club’s outside spaces including tennis and bowls, will receive a credit for any money that has been received. This can be used to reschedule the event for another day within 6 months of the date of the original event. If this is not possible then a refund may be considered.

 

Final Numbers:

Final numbers for your function need to be confirmed no less than seven (7) days prior to the event. Length of functions will be determined before the event and in conjunction with the trading hours. In some cases, there may be a booking after your function. In these instances’ guests may be required to vacate the area before the second scheduled function commences.

 

Damage:

The client will be held fully responsible for any loss or damage which is caused to the Neutral Bay Club or any of its property, or to the property of any of the patrons of the Neutral Bay Club, by any guests of your function. The client fully indemnifies the Neutral Bay Club in respect of any and all such losses.

 

Music:

Depending on the space booked for the function there are music options available. The volume of the music is at the manager’s discretion. Noise restrictions will be in place as we are in a residential location and all function activities and noise will conclude by 10:00 pm.

Catering:

As the Neutral Bay Club is a licenced club, we do not allow outside food or beverages to be brought inside the premises.

All catering requirements are managed through Lusso Kitchen.

You are more than welcome to bring a cake, we do not charge for bringing your own cake.

 

Decorations:

You may decorate your function space at your own discretion. You are not permitted to use any decorations that may cause damage to the Neutral Bay Club or any of its Property (including e.g., any decorations that would require affixing to the walls of the club with nails). Please note that any decorations left at the end of a function will be disposed of unless otherwise agreed to in writing by prior arrangement.

 

Please no confetti or slime type products to be used.

 

Dress Code: 

Minimum requirements are smart casual wear. Shoes are to be worn at all times except on the bowling green, where no heels are permitted.

 

Minors

Minors are only permitted in certain areas of the Club. As part of our Club license, minors may only be in authorised areas and must be accompanied and in the immediate presence of a responsible adult (parent or Legal Guardian) at all times.

 

The Club reserves the right to conduct identification checks of all guests of a function, including so as to determine their age or any other government requirement for entrance into a licensed venue. The client is fully responsible for ensuring that only guests of an appropriate age and that comply with current government regulations are present at the function.

 

Security guards may be required for some functions and will be charged separately $75 per hour.

 

Room hire charges may be applicable if exclusive use is required.

 

Clause:

When booking a function, it is the client’s responsibility to give accurate details in relation to the type of function and its guests. The Neutral Bay Club reserves the right to cancel that function without notice and at the expense of the guest.


I have read the terms and conditions stated above and understand that it is a legally binding contract and that the Club reserves the right to refuse entry without exception.

 

RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL AND COMPLIANCE


The Neutral Bay Club is committed to the responsible service of alcohol of at all times. The Neutral Bay Club and its licensee assumes responsibility for all persons in the club and reserve the right to refuse entry, refuse service, or remove any person that management feels is in any way behaving contrary to what is deemed acceptable by the approved government bodies or house policy.

 

Under no circumstances will any persons who are intoxicated by alcohol or any other substance be allowed entry or permitted to stay on the premises. If a person is asked to leave the premises and refuses to do so, management is required by law to notify the police immediately and that person may be subject to a fine for ‘failure to quit a licensed premises’.


Any persons involved in criminal activity such as violence, sale or use of prohibited drugs or possession of weapons will be turned over to the police immediately without hesitation.

 

No compensation will be afforded to any member of the function or its host if a member of the function is refused entry, refused service, or removed from the premises.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

The Neutral Bay Club is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Act 1988. The personal information provided by you on this application will be used to process your membership application. Failure to provide all the requested information may result in your application being rejected. By completing this application, you consent to be added to the Neutral Bay Club’s mailing list. You have a right to access and correct any of your personal information that the Club holds about you. The Club does not usually disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person unless there is a legal requirement. The Club may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to the Club. These contracts require the third party to keep your personal information confidential and secure.
